1. I really enjoyed creating a video on Stupeflix using my pictures and creating a book on Bookr. I would use Stupeflix to make a video with pictures I took of students demonstrating different verbs and then teach the concept again using that video. I can see myself using Bookr to create many books that go along with various thematic units.
2. I am looking forward to using some of the different things I learned about during the 11 tools study. I feel more comfortable after "playing" around with some of these things and just learning about the plethora of resources available to me.
3. I didn't really have any unexpected outcomes. I knew I would learn a lot and I did!

Tool #10: Digital citizenship
Digital citizenship is an abstract concept for special needs 3 and 4 year olds. I would teach it mostly thru modeling appropriate behaviors with the devices. Things like keeping our hands dry, using two hands to transport the device, and staying on the website/app that they are using are important things to learn when just being introduced to technological devices. At this time, I don't think I would use any of the resources from EdTech.
Tool #9: Incorporating classroom devices for learning
1. You shouldn't use technology just for the sake of technology, it must serve an educational purpose and go along with whatever the content of your lesson is.
2. With 3 and 4 year old special needs students it is somewhat difficult to hold them completely accountable for stations and centers. They need constant supervision. What we can do is model appropriate behavior at each station particularly when there is an Ipad or computer in that center.
3. Learning Games for Kids and Studyladder were two websites I liked. These are good websites I could use with students because they focus on literacy activites which would tie in to language based IEP goals and objectives.
4. The Wheels on the Bus and verb cards are two apps that I have used a lot in speech language sessions. I don't have stations with my students but we do use the apps on the Ipad in our small group sessions. I usually have the students take a turn using the app on the Ipad.
5. Again, I don't have stations with my students. I have used the Ipad as a reinforcer for students to do their work and then be able to choose an app on the Ipad for a set amount of time.

b. I would implement this, hopefully, 1x per week.
c. The tool I would use is Skype in the classroom.
d. Students will ask, and be asked, social questions of name, age, and gender. Then, questions will get increasing more difficult by asking various "wh" questions about their day.
e. I would begin my Skyping regularly with classes on my own campus and then move on to some classes on other campuses.

Tool #6: Using web tools to promote discussion
I used Wallwisher to create a a board where students can post new verbs that they are learning. This is a tool I wouldn't necessarily use with PPCD students, but I could use it working with elementary aged students who have language goals.
I created a Skype in the classroom acct and watched the tutorial on Skype in the classroom on Youtube. I think this tool would enable me to help my students who are working on social skills by allowing them to interact with other people besides the teacher and students in their classroom.

Tool #5: Producing with web 2.0 tools
I created this video using Stupeflix.
I created this book using Bookr
Both of these tools create an instant visual element for the students to help with learning. The ability to use personal pictures of students will make the lessons more meaningful. I like how the pictures using Bookr are all real pictures as opposed to cartoon or line drawings.
