2.  Since I work with 3 and 4 year olds for speech language, I will be the manager of the devices.  I will probably choose most apps, demonstrate how they are used for the students, and then have them use the app with supervision.  For some students I may let them choose among 2-3 apps that they enjoy.  Using the ipad as a reinforcer to get students to do their work also is very helpful.
